URL Shortener

Clients posting links of their BIRDVIEW site on places such as Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, and other sites can now provide a short address rather than a long string. Long URLs also have a tendency to break lines in emails that prevent your intended audience from being able to simply click to access your site. Often times, your intended recipients are forced to copy and paste the url.

Research Study Confirms Brokerage Web Presence Is Most Effective Lead Source

Lombard, IL (January 26, 2009) -- A study by BIRDVIEW Technologies has confirmed that a real estate brokerage's web site presence can be its most effective source of leads. The study was conducted over the course of 12 months and across more than 10 different leading real estate brokerage web sites. The study compared leads generated from a variety of sources including newspaper, magazine, franchise web site, and other on-line real estate portals.

Key findings of the study included:
  • Fifty seven (57%) of leads came from the brokerages primary web site presence;
  • Twenty nine (29%) of leads came from national franchise web sites like century21.com;
  • All other lead sources accounted for less then fifteen (15%) of all leads;
  • Leads from a brokerage's web site closed at an average five (5%) rate.
"After 12 years and 12,000,000 leads generated on behalf of our clients, we've always believed this to be the case," said Bedros Bedrosian, President of BIRDVIEW Technologies. "But the research study provides definitive evidence that a real estate brokerage's web site presence is the leading tool in a brokerage's marketing strategy and corroborates findings of studies done by other independent research institutions."
